Accessibility is at our core

Shyna Promise was founded on the belief that every person deserves dignity, inclusion and equal access. That belief extends to our website. We are committed to ensuring that shynapromise.com.au is accessible to everyone β€” including people with disability, older Australians, and those using assistive technologies.

1

Our Commitment

Shyna Promise Disability Support is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We actively work to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and, in doing so, adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.

We recognise that accessibility is an ongoing journey, not a one-time fix. We are continuously reviewing and improving our website to remove barriers and improve the experience for all users.

As an NDIS Registered Provider, accessibility is not just a legal obligation for us β€” it is a fundamental expression of our values and our commitment to the communities we serve.

2

Standards We Follow

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA β€” the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

These guidelines are built on four core principles:

PERCEIVABLE

Information must be presentable in ways users can perceive.

OPERABLE

Interface components must be operable by all users.

UNDERSTANDABLE

Information and the interface must be understandable.

ROBUST

Content must work across a wide variety of user agents.

We also follow the Australian Government's Digital Service Standard where applicable.
